The Scrapbook is a vault of small notes, one fact each, injected into every message automatically. Rules you set once, project facts, things you told it last month. It is memory that does not depend on the model remembering.
“Memory written on device A is invisible on device B. Starting a session on a second device feels like starting from scratch.”
GitHub #47299 · sync memory between Claude Code and claude.ai. Claude has a memory tool now, but it is shallow and siloed: the two products keep separate stores.

Overwatch does not wait for the model to remember. The Scrapbook is injected into the context of every message, on every device, in four layers: global, folder, session and engine. What you told it on your phone is in the context on your desktop.
Global rules apply everywhere. Folder notes apply to one project. Session notes apply to one thread. Engine notes apply to one model.
Relevant notes are added to the context on every message. There is no "please remember" and no silent forgetting.
Small, named, editable files. You can read them, correct them and delete the wrong ones yourself.
Tell it once how you want replies written, which branch it may push to, what your stack is. It is there in the next session, and the one on your phone.
Notes are plain files in a folder you control. Nothing is locked in a provider's memory store, and nothing is lost when you switch engines.
Readable, editable, deletable. Nothing locked in a provider's memory store.
